Open Day 2007 - Sunday August 19th
What’s happening in Chemistry on Open Day 2007
The School of Chemistry looks forward to Open Day each year and the opportunity it provides for us to speak with prospective students and their families about the wonders of chemistry and why it should be one of the first subjects you select in your undergraduate degree.
Studying Chemistry at the University of Melbourne will give you the skills you’ll need to build a secure, meaningful and productive career.
Come and speak to the School of Chemistry lecturing staff for personalised course planning and advice. We have staff members available in the Wilson Hall through out the day who are happy to speak to you about your specific questions, or to give you an overview of what studying Chemistry is all about. There are detailed posters and handouts that feature career opportunities and examples of past graduates.
Listen to a short session packed full of information on Chemistry at the University of Melbourne in the historical Masson Lecture Theatre in the School of Chemistry.
DO NOT MISS The Magic of Chemistry Show which is a demonstrative lecture highlighting the effects of chemical reactions.
