IT Staff
The School of Chemistry's IT division is responsible for the installation, support and disposal of computers and printers, documentation, network access, file serving, web hosting and backups. We also provide advice to Chemistry staff and students about best practice and the effective use of technology.
Our main goal is to provide support to staff and students in a standard format to best assist the School of Chemistry in its teaching and research activities. Services levels are defined and published in the SoC IT Service Level Agreement.
The School of Chemistry requires a diverse IT environment, from desktop SOE to highly specialized instrumentation based computing. SoCIT is able to provide expert advice and assistance to all School of Chemistry IT activities.
Our new offices are located in RM 372 in the Masson Building.
