Location
The University of Melbourne is in Parkville, an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It also has several associated rural and regional campuses in the State of Victoria.
The School of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne, is a Department of the Faculty of Science.
The School is located on two separate sites or precincts: at the Chemistry Building (Masson precinct) at the University's main Parkville campus and at the Bio21 Institute of Molecular Science and Biotechnology building, which was officially opened by the Premier of Victoria, Mr Steve Bracks, in June 2005.
