The School of Chemistry library
The School of Chemistry's library is located on the ground floor of the newly refurbished Chemistry Building on the University's Parkville campus. A map of the locations of the University's library branches is available. The library is a branch of the University's main library, which is a part of the University's Information Division.

The library has many useful tools including links to data sources, such as finding properties of materials, including the density, melting point or toxicity of a compound. A list of these data sources is available.

Staff
The library staff are available to support you in your studies, teaching and research. They endeavour to maintain journal and book collections relevant and adequate to the teaching and research interests of the School of Chemistry staff and students. They also assist with access to the most essential research databases. The Chemistry librarian is Dr Graham Howard.

Certain books can be placed on reserve. If you would like to place a book on reserve, please send an email to Graham at grahamh@unimelb.edu.au including the details of the book and the number of the course you are undertaking.

Business hours
The Chemistry library is open Monday to Friday however during non semester periods the hours are restricted. Exact hours can be viewed on the library timetable.
