Information for Prospective Honours/PhD Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Australian Honours Students

Relocation scholarships are available for students who are interstate and wish to pursue Honours in the Donnelly group, please contact me for details.

Australian PhD Students (includes New Zealanders and Australian Permanent Residents)

You first need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at The University of Melbourne, and also for an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA). Information about applications is available at the following web sites:

International PhD Students

You first need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne, and also for a scholarship to cover your fees and living expenses (an IPRS scholarship). Competition for IPRS scholarship is intense, and you will need a good first-class Honours degree or equivalent. Please note that I am not permitted to use research grants to pay international student fees, so without an IPRS or similar scholarship from your home government I cannot support your application.
