The refereed proceedings will be a special issue of Radiation Physics and Chemistry. The Guest editor will be C. T. Chantler (The University of Melbourne), X05 Scientific Program Chair. The format of submissions will be as stated for the journal. Page limits (in printed pages) will be

• 20 pages for plenaries
• 10 pages for invited keynote talks
• 4 pages for all other oral and poster presentations

Manuscripts must be submitted for review in electronic form before 27 June 2005 by email to x05-melbourne@unimelb.edu.au . Please include the words "Manuscript submission" and your name in the subject line of the email. The submission of the review copy must be in the form of a single file attachment that can be printed without further processing. Acceptable formats for submission of review copies are Microsoft Word, PostScript or PDF. Users of LaTeX will be required to submit original .tex files and any files containing illustrationsor figures to the Journal in the event that the manuscript is accepted for publication in the conference proceedings.
